Opened to the public in the fall of 1999, Lake Ridge Golf Course is a 9-hole Par 36 2861 Yard course. Lake Ridge's championship size greens and “links” style layout provide the novice golfer with an enjoyable round of golf, while still challenging to the avid golfer with strategically placed lakes, rolling hill fairways and well placed bunkers.
Lake Ridge Corp. owns and operates Lake Ridge Golf Course and is currently developing plans and seeking financial investments for expansion of the 9-hole “links” style layout to a championship 18-hole course that will play over 6800 yards.
No. 6 is a Par 3 and the “signature” hole playing 145 yards down hill from elevated tees to an “island” green surround by water.
No. 5 is a Par 5 and the number one handicap hole playing over 530 yards from the championship tees. A long tee shot is required to set-up the approach shot across a 1.5 acre lake to an elevated green. The championship size green slopes from back to front and is guarded by a large green side bunker and out-of-bounds.
